Ambergris Divers is a well established PADI Dive Center, servicing Scuba Diving and Snorkel excursions and Scuba Certifications from its hub on the beach in the heart of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. 
Ambergris Diver’s signature “Dive Safe” protocol has shaped our reputation as the Safest Dive Operator in the island, and our professional and personable approach precedes us.  We are a mid size operation, fully equipped with full size vessels to service all our trips in-house. Because we are not too large of an operation, we are proficient is offering our guests well customized tours onboard uncrowded boats.
We are also proud to boast the truly fastest boat in the island out to the offshore Atolls of Lighthouse Reef/Blue Hole and Turneffe. Handsomely equipped with 3-200hp outboards; makes the trip in 2 hours, instead of 3 hours on the other bigger crowded boats.
Ambergris Divers is owned and managed by husband/wife team, Roberto and Karen Canul. Roberto grew up along the shores of Corozal Town and later moved to the island. His career at sea started 16 years ago, with a 4yr interval in the food and beverage sector, which nourished his customer service flair. He has held a PADI instructor status since 1998.  Karen is a local island girl who grew up right across the street from where Ambergris Divers is located. Her father was one of the first Instructors in the country of Belize, having had to travel to Jamaica to acquire his dive certification and teaching status way back in 1968/75. As a girl, she would take the left over air from divers’ returning trips and dive under the very pier where Ambergris Divers operates out of!  Naturally, one of her first jobs was at a dive center.
This introduction may sound a little too personal, but it is simply a display of how involved we are in the operation of Ambergris Divers. As such, our all-Belizean staff has been very well selected, making sure that their love for diving and the pleasure they get from doing it as a job is the driving force to their everyday exchanges with folks from all walks of life.
